ESRI Virtual Campus Library

A comprehensive bibliography on GIS is free and searchable on the ESRI virtual campus. The goal of the bibliography is to improve access to the entire body of GIS literature by providing an index to it. References to GIS conference proceedings, journal articles, and reports are added daily. The bibliography includes many papers on First Nations use of GIS, most of which turn up through a search using the phrase 'indigenous peoples'.

Geo-spatial Solutions

The on-line version of Geo-spatial Solutions magazine covering applications and trends in geographic information systems and related spatial technologies. Contains an index and abstracts of current and past articles, calendar of events, product information and resource links.

Global Spatial Data Infrastructure Association (GSDI)

The purpose of GSDI is to promote international cooperation and collaboration in support of local, national and international spatial data infrastructure developments that will allow nations to better address social, economic, and environmental issues of pressing importance.

Global Forest Watch

Global Forest Watch's overall objective is to infuse transparency and accountability into the decision making processes that determine how forests are managed and for whom. This site has some downloadable Canadian maps as well as interactive maps from around the world. They are currently working to update and add to the data that pertains to Aboriginal peoples.
