Base Mapping & Geomatic Services Branch sells the base map mapping component of the BC Atlas, including:
- 1:2,000,000 map
- 1:250,000 maps
- 1:20,000 TRIM maps
- Baseline Thematic Mapping (BTM) – present land use mapping derived from satellite imagery
- Gridded DEM – a 25 metre gridded DEM product produced from the Triangulated Irregular Network DEM, which is, in turn, produced from the irregular point and breakline product (which is part of the TRIM product)
Base Mapping & Geomatic Services Branch also has an aerial photography program that covers the entire province with air photos.
