The Rainforest Foundation UK (RFUK) supports indigenous peoples and
traditional populations of the world’s rainforest to secure and control
the natural resources necessary for their long-term wellbeing and
managing these resources in ways which do not harm their environment.
The Database and GIS Officer will join us at an exciting time of
organisational growth and technological development. Under the
supervision of the GIS Coordinator, the post-holder will be responsible
for assisting the development of the mapping and monitoring component of
the RFUK strategy, will create and maintain the structures and systems
necessary for GIS data collection, storage, analysis and presentation
and will be responsible for RFUK’s web platform, www.MappingForRights.org
