Reports to the Wuikinuxv Band Manager
Work with the Integrated Resource Department staff to take the current stand alone departments and turn them into a cohesive working unit. Current
departments: Fisheries, Marine Use Planning & Lands/Referrals, liaise with Treaty, Chief & Council, Economic Development corporations.
Duties

- methods to overcome training barriers or difficulties
- Develop
- the WIRS department to gain maximum benefit to the nation. Including working with the IRS Board on the development of:
- Terms of reference
- Guidelines
- Reporting structure
- Or refine the current job descriptions, including those of the Director, to fit with the final structure for the WIRS department
- a plan to hire and train an Wuikinuxv member as Director after the WIRS structure and Director’s job description are finalized
- Other duties
- As the development of the WIRS departments proceeds, the person hired for the IRS Department development will need to pick up the directors duties in order to properly train an Wuikinuxv member as director when the time comes.
Requirements
- impartiality from current Wuikinuxv Politics
- business degree or human resources degree
- familiarity with First Nations Issues
- 5 years experience
- References are required
Pay is commensurate with experience. Some travel is required.
