GeoMemes (www.geomemes.com) is a small web development group located in beautiful Victoria BC. We have a sunny office in Victoria’s old town on Broad and Yates, above a surf shop, and beside a yoga studio, and two blocks from the Paradiso Di Stelle cafe overlooking the float planes and sailboats of the Inner Harbour. We do strategic planning sessions there.
We have two initiatives for which we are hiring. Both have clients using production code, and both are undergoing “new features” development. The initiatives are: (1) small government data management with map data (report generation, web-GIS, email harvesting); and (2) health professional collaboration spaces (multimedia resource libraries, eMeetings using node-js).
We’re looking for someone with some solid Drupal chops. Git, Features, Javascript, css, Drupal theming… should all be familiar to you. We’ve also successfully brought newby programmers up to speed.
We’d like to find someone local, but this position could be at least partial telecommute. We would prefer you to be in Victoria for some of our code sprints and planning meetings. Compensation commensurate with experience. This position could lead to partnership opportunities.
