Hello, just found this website and thought what a wonderful resource. I am completeing my first yyear in Geomatic Engineering Digital Mapping Diploma at BCIT. I was previously a Prepress TTechnician however due to the commonality of PC’s and now photocopiers as “Digital Printers” the level of knowledge required for prepress has become redundant and is no longer as technical or interesting to me. I am a journeyman (woman) who learned as an apprentice and put my hours in. So needless to say the field of geomatics and mapping has me completely fascinated. If anyone has some words of wisdom for a “baby” in the industry, I would appreciate your comments.
