The Carrier Chilcotin Tribal Council is seeking a Natural Resources advisor to assist member communities with land management. The successful applicant should have a good general knowledge in the following areas:
Fisheries, Forestry, Land Use Planning, Mapping, Mining, Oil/Gas. Additional knowledge of tradition land use and occupancy study, ethno‐historical literature and archaeological inventories is an asset.
Applicants should possess a minimum BSc in Natural Resource Management and or BA in First Nations Studies and /or three years related work experience.
The position is a full‐time renewable contract. The salary is commensurate, 40 to 55 K per annum, dependent upon qualifications.
