Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve and Haida Heritage Site

We are seeking dynamic team players who thrive in a constantly changing
environment and have proven track records of creative solutions. The
successful candidates will work with the Manager, External Relations,
to support Gwaii Haanas and Parks Canada’s external relations efforts
to enhance awareness and understanding of the treasured natural and
historic places it administers.
These competitions are open to
persons residing within 100 k of Skidegate BC or persons of Haida
ancestry living within or beyond this radius. Preference may be given
to qualified Haida candidates.

Partnering
& Engagement Officer III – PM-03 In this role, you will support the
Gwaii Haanas team, through development, delivery and evaluation of
partnering and engagement initiatives and programs. This is an
indeterminate position with a salary range from $55,496-$59,796 /per
year + IPA benefits.
If you have graduated from post-secondary
studies (minimum of a two year program) in a field relevant to the
position or have an acceptable combination of education, training and
experience in a field related to the position and have experience
contributing to the development and delivery of programs and tools
related to stakeholder and partner engagement within a public sector
context; working within a multidisciplinary team environment; working
collaboratively with the voluntary sector; providing advice to
management and staff for decision-making; working collaboratively with
relevant Haida and other organizations on Haida Gwaii, submit your

Public
Outreach Education Officer III – PM-03 In this role, you will support
the Gwaii Haanas team, through development, delivery and evaluation of
public outreach education programs, products and events. This is an
indeterminate position with a salary range from $55,496-$59,796 /per
year + IPA benefits.
If you have graduated with a degree from
a recognized university with specialization in communications,
marketing, public relations, journalism, education, business
administration or other discipline relevant to the position or you have
an acceptable combination of education, training and experience and
have experience in the research, development, delivery and evaluation
of public outreach education programs; working within a
multidisciplinary team environment; maintaining collaborations with
networks and partners; contributing to contracted initiatives and
related budgets; working collaboratively with relevant Haida and other
organizations on Haida Gwaii, submit your application quoting selection

Internet Content and New Media
Officer II -PM-02 In this role, you will support the Gwaii Haanas team,
through development, coordination and evaluation of Internet site
content and new media opportunities for the Gwaii Haanas field unit.
This is an indeterminate half-time position with a pro-rated salary
range from $51,777 -55,784 /per year + IPA benefits.
If you have
graduated with a degree or diploma from a recognized university or
college with specialization in web design, communications, marketing,
educational technology, computer science or other discipline relevant
to the position or an acceptable combination of education, training and
experience in a field related to the position and have experience in
the development, coordination and evaluation of web-based content; the
quality control of a web site; applying research results and other
information to improve effectiveness of web communications; working in
support of a multi-disciplinary team in the development, review,
approval and posting of web content; working collaboratively with
relevant Haida and other organizations on Haida Gwaii, submit your
