Hi all,
Three really interesting things for you to look out for:
1. The sequel to Chief Kerry’s Moose, Living Proof, will be published this fall. Please contact us if you’d like to pre-order a copy of the book.
2. I have completed a manual about creating digital data from the Use and Occupancy information collection that Living Proof details. You can now access the training manual here.
3. I am presenting at the North American Cartographic Information Society’s annual conference about the lessons learned from creating maps for Living Proof. I will post my presentation when it’s done. Wish me luck!
Eliana.
Great news Eliana. I am interested in ordering one copy of the book. Can you put my name down for that? Thanks! And I’m looking forward to looking at both the manual you put together and the presentation….
Hello all,
I’ve now posted the manual Mapping Use and Occupancy: creating digital maps from paper maps. It’s currently only available as webpages, but we may release it as a pdf – please email me if that interests you.
We’d love to get feedback on our methods, as well as what you find the most and least useful, and anything else you’d care to share with us!
Hope you find it useful. Best, Eliana.
[EDIT – we’ve now posted the pdf! yay!]
