Junior Historian – Grand Council Treaty #3

Grand Council Treaty #3 offers an exceptional opportunity for a person with historical, or research experience to work in a dynamic, result-oriented organization.

The candidate will:

  • identify and create historic research priorities and workplans;
  • execute research strategies and reports; use research and analytical skills to deliver accurate, clear written materials;
  • provide leadership and expert advice to Grand Council Treaty #3 Treaty and Aboriginal Rights Research (TARR) unit, Chiefs and member nations;
  • prepare briefings, reports, make presentations; write and edit reports to the Nation;
  • liaise and work cooperatively with Treaty #3 First Nations;
  • optimize and carry out Grand Council’s historical research objectives.
