The Ministry of Aboriginal Relations and Reconciliation provides leadership across the provincial government that will, over the next decade, bridge the social and economic gaps that many Aboriginal people face in British Columbia. While working collaboratively with Aboriginal organizations, the federal government and other partners to support the goals of the New Relationship, the Ministry will continue to negotiate and implement treaties and other lasting agreements with First Nations.

You as the Senior Implementation Analyst will be achieving Final Agreements with First Nations which is a major Provincial priority. You will also work in the implementation of treaties that although led by MARR, has substantial legal and strategic policy implications across government ministries, agencies, local governments, and other organizations. You as Senior Analyst will lead the development of critical components of the implementation process, including implementation plans and related policies and procedures. You will also provide expertise on bringing agreements into legal effect.

Our ideal candidate has a university degree in a related discipline (resource management, social or economic development, economics, Aboriginal studies, law, and/or public/business administration) or the equivalent in training and experience. Three years senior level and progressively responsible work experience in research methodology, policy analysis, or program development and implementation. Prefer work experience related to First Nations/negotiations/ implementation.
