Please find below a link to the latest contract posting within the Clayoquot Forest Communities program – this time a job offered in partnership with the Clayoquot Biosphere Trust. The successful candidate will be tasked to complete a socioeconomic baseline of the Clayoquot region, and forge collaboration with the Canadian Model Forest Network, Tourism Tofino, Tourism Ucluelet, the Chambers of Commerce, the districts, and First Nations communities. The main deliverables will include:
1) A description of the Clayoquot economy by sector and economic outputs
2) Demographic trends
3) Analysis of labour/business market projections based on the above
The contractor will report back to Curtis Cook, ED of the CBT, and Daniel Arbour.
