Your sound knowledge of legal and engineering surveys is in demand towork with various types of surveying in a dynamic office that offers younew challenges and career growth opportunities.In this role, you will produce, edit, prepare and review legal andengineering survey drawing, maps, digital terrain models and otherspatial data material while working with geographic information systems(GIS) and other computer aided design (CAD) programs for the planning,design and construction and operation of transportation facilities.
*Qualifications:*demonstrated knowledge in the production of engineeringand legal survey plans, maps and digital terrain models and GIS andknowledge of related legislation, regulations and standards (e.g. PublicTransportation & Highway Improvement Act, Surveys Act, Land Titles Act,Registry Act); demonstrated knowledge with computer software programs(e.g. AutoCAD and AutoDesk Land Desktop) to produce GIS products plansand maps; proven ability with researching, analyzing and evaluatingsurvey (engineering and legal) and GIS data and products; proven abilityto communicate effectively and use interpersonal skills to establish andmaintain effective working relationships; organizational skills and theability to new technological changes.
