Larry contacted me because he needed a map of the Loon Lake, Loon Prairie and Swampy Lake Reserves in northern Alberta. Interestingly, these reserves don’t appear on the Indian Reserves Maps on the Alberta Government’s website (http://www.aboriginal.alberta.ca/542.cfm). However, they appeared in the Canada Lands Administrative Boundaries dataset (available on Geogratis: www.geogratis.ca)… I’m curious – does anyone know why Alberta doesn’t list them?
