We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Geopost Manager to be accountable for identifying business opportunities, and subsequently planning, designing, developing and supporting applications to grow the Geopost service offering.

The successful candidate will:
• Develop and implement new or modified products to meet changing market and operating conditions; review initiatives from other functions
• Identify current and future market opportunities and threats
• Identify requirements for market research and utilize results to determine marketing and sales plans to expand the product and grow market share
• Prepare product strategies as the primary input for the formulation of corporate strategies; evaluate strategic options from a product perspective
• Develop and recommend prices and price changes from the viewpoint of product strategy; evaluate operational, financial, and market variables to produce solid price recommendations
• Co-ordinate the integration and establishment of sales targets, revenue and volume forecasts
• Assess product and market performance; identify the cause of revenue and volume shortfalls, and recommend corrective action
• Act as principal contact for DM advisors and sales channels with respect to product attributes and features
• Act a subject matter expert and represent CP where specialist knowledge of the Geopost product is required
• Provide ongoing training and coaching expertise to other members of the Geopost team

Qualifications include:
• Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science, GIS, or related field
• Five or more years of experience implementing, applying, and using GIS in a number of advanced implementations
• Experience with managing projects or teams that developed or used applications built in .NET, Java or Python
• Experience with managing projects or teams that developed or used web programming frameworks
• Advanced use of relational databases (SQL Server and Oracle)
• Experience with direct marketing services (analytic or geo-spatial) delivery

Other requirements include:
• Travel will be required throughout GTA region
