Education

  • Successful completion of post-secondary education in geomatics or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or work experience.

Work Environment

The Canada Centre for Cadastral Management provides an integrated cadastral infrastructure based on the Canada Lands Survey system that leads to an efficient and effective property rights and geospatial infrastructure.This integrated cadastral infrastructure is provided for the lands under the jurisdiction of the federal government which include: the three northern territories, aboriginal lands, national parks and the offshore areas of Canada.

Challenge

Geomatics Technologists collect/compile, process, verify, correct and present geo-spatial data in digital, graphic chart, map or other representational forms. They are responsible for maintaining databases and data files in support of CCCM operations and respond to client requests by providing technical data and information.
