Federal Geographic Data Committee Releases 2009 Tribal Training Schedule


The US Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) has released the "2009 Tribal Training Schedule (pdf)". The training partners with the US Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). I just obtained the newsflash yesterday and have posted it, the schedule and details of the training and scholarship opportunity for tribal members in the U.S. Please apply! There are 3 courses scheduled for this year:

Introduction to ArcGIS for HAZUS Multi-Hazard Users (E190) October 20-23, 2008
GIS Introduction for Conservation Professionals (TEC7112) November 4-6, 2008
Basic HAZUS Multi-Hazards (E313) December 1-4, 2008
