A six month contract opportunity focuses on enhancing awareness of and access to priority aquatic information datasets in British Columbia. The two main deliverables include 1) collecting priority information and making it accessible via protocols and live-feeds; 2) enhancing awareness through regular communications and by assembling an on-line searchable catalogue of data warehouses in BC relevant to aquatic information.
The contract is initially for six months, on a full-time basis, with a possibility of extension. There is some flexibility in terms of time and location. The contract amount is between $35,000-$40,000 depending on skills and qualifications.
Skills
· Data base management, ArcGIS, PHP and java programming, Autodesk Mapguide Enterprise, and project planning.
