Location: Boyle, Alberta
Your responsibilities will include, map production, data management, GIS infrastructure maintenance, GIS spatial analysis, technical and custom application support, scripting, programming, training, strategic development, and implementation of new technology along with budgeting and planning.
You have excellent communication / presentation skills and the ability to manage deadlines.Proven expertise in development and implementation of quality controls and standards, operating procedures related to management, production and processing of GIS data are a must. Knowledge of database management / design concepts is essential. Formalized GIS training and a university degree in geography, forestry, or a related discipline are preferred. A minimum of 5 years’ GIS experience with ArcGIS, ArcSDE, ArcIMS, ArcWorkstation along with scripting experience using Python and AML are assets.
