MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITY
The Akisqnuk First Nation, located in the Columbia Valley, East Kootenays, B.C., is seeking an experienced and skilled candidate for the position of:
Reporting to Chief and Council, the Administrator has the responsibility for employee supervision and development, overall management of daily operations, and financial affairs of the approximately 300 member Band.
The successful candidate will be a proven and skilledAdministrator with a minimum of five years experience in senior administrationand a university degree in business administration, public administration or arelated field. Extensive knowledge of First Nations’ governance, programming,and funding sources along with excellent written and oral communications skillsare a requirement of the position. Previous experience working with a FirstNation is an asset.
