Energy , Edmonton – Map out your next career move with GIS Mapping and Data Services! We are seeking a diagrammatic representation of an enthusiastic individual with strong people and communication skills to lead a dynamic team of cartographic and data specialists providing innovative Geographic Information Systems (GIS) mapping and data support to Departmental clients.
Reporting to the Team Lead, you will illustrate strong leadership and client relationship skills, complimented with a proven techinical aptitude in the field of GIS. Your rock solid understanding of GIS technology and spatial data requirements will assist you in all aspects of this challenging role. Working collaboratively with Unit Leads and clients, you will develop and implement mapping standards, providing innovative solutions to improve business processes.
Qualifications:
A University degree in a related field (Geography, Cartography, Geomatics, or GIS-related discipline) combined with several years of experience in GIS technology, spatial analysis techniques is required. Advanced level skills in using ESRI GIS products is also required. Equivalencies will be considered.
