Rosetta Stone Endangered Language Program Student Internship


The Rosetta Stone Endangered Language Program is offering a semester- or summer-long student internship at its Harrisonburg, VA offices. The intern will gain valuable hands-on experience in a successful language-learning software development company. Possible
areas of specialization, according to the interests of the intern, include
– program administration (website maintenance, resource development, research, communications),
– audio editing and reviewing,
– project management (materials development, planning),
– photo editing,
– software development (quality assurance, documentation), and
– language learning (research, testing).

To be eligible, students should be enrolled in and have completed at least one year in a degree-granting college or university, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and have a special interest in indigenous issues, languages and language revitalization. Knowledge of an indigenous language is also desirable. Housing and an hourly wage are provided.
