The FORREX Partnership is seeking an Information Products and Services Co-op student to start immediately for term employment that may be renewed on an annual basis.
Duties:
Under the general direction of the Website and Corporate Systems Practitioner, the Information Products and Services Co-op Student will provide creative design of web pages, as well as mapping and enabling connections to corporate Information Management Internet and Intranet products and services. Work will involve a variety of tasks requiring practical understanding and working knowledge of database mapping,web-based interfaces, XML, and other Internet programming.
Qualifications:
The successful applicant will demonstrate the following skills and qualifications: Familiarity with British Columbia’s natural resource community; Excellent technical, communication, problem solving, project co-ordination skills; Demonstrated ability to work on a team and independently and effectively for an innovative organization and a diverse client base; Education and (or) experience in database management, event planning and co-ordination, and front-line client/team support; Working knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access), Web-based tools, and the Internet.
