Education
Your resume must clearly demonstrate how you meet the educational requirements.
Education within a recognized post secondary institution in a relevant discipline such as Geography, Resource Management, Engineering, or Natural Sciences;
OR
an acceptable combination of training, education and practical experience.
Experience
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Experience is required in EACH of the following areas:
Experience in the use of GIS (Geographic Information Systems), especially ESRI products such as ArcView, ArcGIS, ArcInfo, ArcIMS.
Experience in using standard computer software and hardware (eg. Windows XP, Microsoft Office Suite, plotters and printers).
Experience providing professional-calibre client support.
Experience in reading and using maps.
Experience participating as a member of a team or as a team leader.

Challenge
Geographic Information System (GIS) information, data, application
support and application development for internal and external clients,
which include DIAND, other federal government departments, goverenment
of the Northwest Territories (NWT), aboriginal organizations, land claim
