Duties will include: providing technical expertise in the development, maintenance and utilization of natural resources databases; carrying out a variety of data, technical, and administrative duties and providing customer service to internal and external clients.

Qualifications: demonstrated ability to use Geographic Information System technology in resource management; ability to input GIS data, digitize and produce reports and maps for a variety of resource management applications; demonstrated organizational and prioritizing skills, as well as the ability to work independently; working knowledge of a variety of computer operating systems and applications related to resource management; good interpersonal and team skills; good written and oral communication skills; knowledge and understanding of ecological principles and practices required to organize, conduct and coordinate field surveys and projects; knowledge of worker responsibilities as outlined in the Occupational Health and Safety Act; valid Class G driver`s licence required to conduct site inspections and field surveys in remote areas.
