Language Proficiency

English essential

Education

Graduation with a degree from a recognized university in a science related to the discipline, or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Experience

Experience in using GIS and remote sensing software.

Experience in analyzing and interpreting GIS and remote sensing information.

Experience in analyzing large relational databases.

Other Merit Criteria and Conditions of Employment

  • The following merit criteria may be required for this position. Applicants should indicate in their application if they meet the merit criteria.
    • Experience in supporting research in areas of land cover, land use and land management mapping.
    • Experience in conducting integrated spatial analysis of national agricultural Census, soil-landscape and land cover databases.

CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT:
Reliability Status. This factor is not used at the pre-selection stage. The Department is responsible for the Security Clearance process.
