Education

  • Graduation from a recognized university program in Computer Science, Geomatics, Geographic Information Systems or Geography.

Experience

Demonstrate, with specific examples, how you meet the following experience requirements. Failure to do so will result in your application being screened-out without further consideration.

Experience in providing IM/IT support and maintenance to end users of Geomatics systems such as; Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Digital Cartography, Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing systems.

Experience in configuring, optimizing, maintaining and administering computer networks and servers.

Experience with the exploitation of geospatial databases, image servers and geospatial data warehouses.

Experience with Relational Database Management System database configuration, optimizing and tuning.

Experience with the conception and implementation of specialized Geomatics IM/IT solutions.

Experience in writing scripts and programs for the optimization or enhancement of existing systems or to provide interfaces between software components.
