Reporting to the Technical Services Manager this position prepares engineering/design/construction drawings, maps and other documents and maintains engineering drawings, computer information storage systems, maps, files and other materials. May assist with field and survey work.
The successful applicant will have the following requirements:
- College or Institute of Technology Diploma in civil engineering drafting
- knowledge of civil, municipal, cadastral, cartographic, architectural and mechanical drafting
- proficiency in MS Office, Autodesk – AutoCad, Civil 3D, and Map 3D
- keyboard skills to perform computerized drafting, produce reports/graphic materials
- experience in G.I.S. systems and proficiency in manual drafting would be assets
- valid B.C. driver’s licence (Class 5)
This is a bargaining unit position with a current starting salary of $25.55/hour progressing to $29.90/hour in 4 increments over 2 years. A full benefit package is provided.
