Six Month Term position – Commencing June 2007
Working in the Leisure and Parks Department, you will provide GIS and cartographic mapping support in the inventory of the Park’s department assets and utilities by; creating accurate spatial mapping and representations of the assets and utilities from existing plans and field sketches and carrying out data collection in the field.
In addition to sound related municipal experience, you will have a clear understanding of GIS and Cartographic principles and have relevant experience with Geographic Information Systems specifically ESRI ArcGIS. Preference will be given to applicants possessing their own vehicle and a valid BC Driver’s license.
