Research Assistant, BC Wildland Interface Fire Protection Plans


To hire immediately, a research assistant to help prepare BC communities Wildland Interface Fire Protection Plans.

Need research assistant with skills and knowledge at about a recent BSc level, of wildlife ecology, restoration, eco-systems, climate, biogeoclimatic mapping, data collection.

GPS experience useful. Good writing skills important.

Some office work now, and in August, field work around BC to contact and gather information in communities around the province, including First Nations communities, about urban – fire interface issues.
