Here is the information for NWCC’s Reclamation & Prospecting Team Leader training from the School of Exploration & Mining. We are seeking 20-25 First Nation applicants from which 15 will be chosen to participate in this provincially funded pilot project.
We anticipate the training to begin mid-February (for approximately 6 weeks): classroom instruction will be combined with field trips and safety certifications. There may be a paid employment opportunity during the summer for successful graduates.
If you can help us organize potential applicants for this program, that would be great. We would like to start with names and contact information, so we can talk to people directly and address any questions they will likely have.
As the Employment Advisor on campus, I am available to proofread resumes and cover letters for applicants before they submit their final application. Literacy and Numeracy rates are important in this course but they don’t need to be essay writers 🙂
