You are invited to attend Fisheries and Oceans Canada’s (DFO) community dialogue sessions for Fall 2006! This is the 3rd year that DFO has conducted multi-issue, multi-interest consultations in BC communities. The Department combines its consultation efforts in order to respect the valued time of First Nations, stakeholders and the public. Sessions provide information and seek feedback and input on a number of issues (outlined below). This year, the Department is holding open houses, two-day dialogue sessions and information exchanges with First Nations in ten BC communities. Open houses are open to the public, and the day-time dialogue sessions are by registration only (see “How to Get Involved” below).
