The Pacific Salmon Foundation is please to announce we are now accepting applications for the Stewardship Community Bursary. Bursary applicants must meet the following criteria:
* Canadian citizen;
* Resident of BC;
* Demonstrate financial need;
* Full time student in good standing in at least year two of an accredited program that leads to a career that supports Pacific Salmon; and
* Member of the aquatic stewardship volunteer community.
Two $500 awards will be awarded one geographically restricted to the lower Fraser volunteer area and a second, restricted to outside the Lower Fraser area. Complete applications are accepted from September 1 to midnight September 30 each year. Application packages for the Stewardship Community Bursary are available at www.psf.ca/bursary, all BC colleges and universities, or by contacting Pacific Salmon Foundation at 604-664-7664.
