After the totem pole film I was heavily involved in writing and then directing a television mini-series about the Oka crisis of 1990. It’s a four-hour dramatic recreation of the crisis. It’s called ‘Indian Summer: the Oka Crisis’. It will be broadcast on CBC next Friday, the 15th, at 8:00PM (Part One). Then Part Two will follow the week after, Friday the 22nd, also at 8:00PM.
I feel quite attached to the community now, so I would just like to let people there know about it – especially because I don’t know how much publicity CBC is doing about it. So it would be great if you could pass the word and let people know.
