Manager, Aboriginal Community Liaison


Are you looking to make a difference with an outstanding not-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing sustainability? The Fraser Basin Council (www.fraserbasin.bc.ca) is seeking a talented and experienced full-time Manager, Aboriginal Community Liaison to support Aboriginal community outreach and engagement throughout the Fraser Basin.
 
Working with a highly motivated team in offices throughout the Fraser Basin, you will be interacting with Aboriginal communities and organizations to help deliver the Fraser Basin Council’s mandate and programs. This is an exciting new position that is designed to advance sustainability through enhancing Aboriginal and non-aboriginal relations.  The Aboriginal Community Liaison will work to increase awareness of sustainability and aboriginal issues within diverse constituents by providing communication and operational support to Directors, staff and projects.
 
Requirements include relevant post-secondary education or equivalent, demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal communities and organizations in the Fraser Basin and excellence in working and communicating with diverse constituents.  Experience with facilitation and process design is an asset.
 
This is a full time position.
