The Yukon Conservation Society (YCS) is looking for a highly motivated person to help ensure long term environmental, social and economic sustainability for Yukon forest based communities. The YCS Forest Liaison will review and make recommendations on forest management plans, environmental assessments, legislation and policies. Networking with First Nations, communities, government, industry and Non-Governmental Organizations will be an important focus.
Hours are 30 hours per week, and pay is $20-$23/hour depending on experience.
This term position extends until December 31, 2006 with a target of three years contingent on funding.
