Using mainly existing government-prepared data sets and advanced mapping technologies, Ecotrust Canada began to map out, for the first time, the Scientific Panel’s watershed-based recommendations. The results of this analysis were published in 1997 in Seeing the Ocean Through the Trees, a book by Ecotrust Canada on a conservation-based development strategy for Clayoquot Sound.
