Permanent Full-Time Position – Position Number 9991

The Ethnology and Cultural Studies Division is currently seeking a dynamic individual who will, under the supervision of the Director, Ethnology and Cultural Studies, manage, plan, and coordinate activities that pertain to the recruitment, selection, and placement of participants in the Aboriginal Training Program in Museum Practices (ATPMP); plan, manage, and evaluate the training program as well as the participants; promote the aforementioned program, recommend changes, and seek funding for the Program; and perform other related duties.

As the ideal candidate, you hold a Three (3) years College Diploma in Social Science or Humanities.

You possess knowledge of:
* Aboriginal Peoples and Cultures;
* Managing educational programs;
* Museum functions and activities;

You have six (6) months to (1) ) year experience :

* In communicating with Aboriginal Peoples and Institutions;
* In coordinating Training Programmes;
* In supervision of trainee.

Since you will be working in a highly computerized environment, a demonstrated experience of word processing (Word), electronic spreadsheet (Excel) and electronic mail (Outlook), database software (Ke Emu, Access), and Internet is required.
