Summer Work Experience creates summer jobs for secondary and post-secondary students.
Summer Work Experience also supports the operation of Service Canada Centres for Youth (SCCY), where students can learn about summer work opportunities in their communities, find help looking and applying for jobs, and meet local business people as potential employees. They can also find the latest information about wages, labour laws, health and safety in the workplace, and other federal and provincial youth employment programs at these offices.
