The purpose of Human Resource Development Canada’s Summer Career Placement Program is to encourage the hiring of students who are enrolled full-time in school and are intending to return after the summer to do the same. This program supports For-profit, Non-profit, and some public sector projects. Placements last six to sixteen weeks.
HRDC contributes wage subsidies that differ depending on which category your project falls under-private sector, public sector, or non-profit sector. Applications should be submitted to your local Human Resource Center. Forms and instructions are available on-line at:
